XlV OPEN "BELIŠĆE - METALIS 2007"

Place and date: Bizovac, Hotel Termia, 22. - 25. February 2007.
Who can participate: All players from Croatia and foreign countries
Competition system: Swiss system, 7 rounds, FIDE-version (joint tournament for male and female chess-players)
Game rate: 90 minutes + 30 seconds bonification for every move. The Tournament will be rated in FIDE.
Prize fund: EURO 4.500  (1 EURO=7,40 kn)
- for male chess-players: I – 10.000 kn, II – 6.500 kn, III - 4.700 kn, IV – 3.200 kn, V -2.200 kn,
VI - 1.500 kn, VII – 1.000 kn, VIII - 600 kn, IX - 500 kn, X - 400 kn, XI - XV - 300 kn.
- for female chess-players: I - 800 kn, II - 550 kn, III - 300 kn. (in the end of the Tournament, placing of female chess-players will be made)
- the best junior - 300 kn.
Registration fee: 150 kn; grand masters, international masters, players having rating higher than 2.350 (male) and 2.200 (female) do not pay fee.
Tournament program: Registration - February 22, 2007 till 11 a.m.
Opening ceremony on Thursday, 22 at 11 a.m. 1^st round at 11.30 a.m., 2^nd round at 5 p.m. On Friday and Saturday two rounds will be played, beginning: in the morning at 9 o'clock, in the afternoon at 3.30 o'clock. 7^th round is on Sunday at 9 a.m. after what will be the closing ceremony and prize delivery around 1 p.m.
Obligations: Each participant is obliged to bring chess set and digital chess clock.

Grand masters having rating higher than 2,550 have board free of charge.
